Welcome to my blog!
Iwill be using this blog to interact with you about Beyond Loss in a Pandemic and expand on some of the topics in it. I understand what it’s like to lose someone, especially during this time of uncertainty brought on by the pandemic. I know how challenging it can be to cope with loss. I’ve been there, done that and I’m now living a happy life. Through my involvement with hospice, I’ve also provided grief support to hundreds of people over the years.
There’s no right or wrong way to grieve, and there’s no set time when grief is supposed to be “over.” The first few months after a loss can be a blur. Making it through the first year and beyond is a huge challenge, especially during the time of COVID. Just when you think you’re doing better, you may have setbacks. This situation is normal and you’re not alone. This book describes how people can address all types of challenges and rebuild their lives alongside their grief.
I hope that as you read my newest book, Beyond Loss in a Pandemic: Find Hope and Move Through Grief After Someone Close to You Dies, you’ll discover many insights and practical ideas that will help you. I’ll be returning here frequently with new posts and responses to feedback from you.
